Salo is built on a single conviction: oral care should be held to the same scientific standard as your skincare.
We formulate around nano-hydroxyapatite, the same mineral your enamel is made of, as the active that supports remineralization without the need for fluoride. We omit SLS, the foaming agent linked to canker sores and oral irritation. We pH-balance to the natural chemistry of the mouth. Every choice is a clinical one.

What we put in
At Salo, every ingredient serves a purpose.
Our formulas are built around nano-hydroxyapatite (nHA), a mineral that closely resembles the natural building blocks of tooth enamel. By supporting the process of remineralization, nHA helps replenish minerals lost through everyday wear and has been trusted in advanced oral care formulations for more than forty years.
We apply the same philosophy to every ingredient we select. From cleansing agents to polishing ingredients, each component is chosen for both efficacy and gentleness. We prioritize low-abrasion formulations designed to clean effectively while respecting enamel, dental work, and the delicate tissues of the mouth.
The result is oral care informed by clinical experience, guided by thoughtful formulation, and designed for long-term daily use.
What we left out
Thoughtful formulation requires restraint.
While much of oral care focuses on adding more, we believe every ingredient should earn its place. Our formulas are intentionally developed without ingredients we don't believe are essential to the daily care of your smile.
That includes sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), artificial dyes, triclosan, parabens, peroxide whiteners, and fluoride. We also prioritize low-abrasion polishing systems designed to clean effectively without unnecessary harshness.
Because what stays out of your body matters just as much as what goes in.
