Remineralizing Cleanser

Full disclosure: I’m a co-founder of Salo, so yes, I’m biased (and excited).

For the last two years, I’ve been brushing twice a day with formula after formula. Some were good. Most, to put it nicely, weren’t.

But sometimes, when something is right, it just clicks.

The first thing I noticed when we finally got there was the texture. It’s light and foams just enough. The spearmint oil tastes like real mint because, well, it is. And afterward, my mouth feels clean and balanced.

The benchmark in my head was my favorite gentle skincare cleanser. I wanted brushing to feel like the rest of my self-care routine.

A few weeks in, I noticed my teeth felt smoother, even hours after brushing. My sensitivity started bothering me less, and at this point, it has all but disappeared.

That part has Dr. Salo written all over it. She’s obsessed with efficacy and spends hours buried in research, figuring out which ingredients actually earn a place in our formula.

For much of my life, I’ve been a little insecure about my smile.

These days, I actually like it.

And that has made a much bigger difference in my life than I expected when we started this project.
